- On Thursday night Kyle Beard invaded Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) kicking off the three-day Topless 100. Drawing 46 cars for the event co-sanctioned by the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Kyle dropped one spot in his heat to place 6th. Slated to start 3rd in his B-Main, Beard discovered issues with his water pump before the start of the event forcing him to scratch from the 12-lapper.

Returning on Friday afternoon for another $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Beard came in 7th in his heat giving him one final shot at the A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place in the Top 3, Kyle logged an 8th place outing.

Wrapping up the Topless 100 on Saturday, Kyle needed a 3rd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $40,000-to-win finale. Coming short of a transfer position, Beard was granted a provisional into the main event. Starting in 25th, Kyle got collected in a wreck on that opening lap that dropped him back to a 20th place finish.

Kyle sits in third in the latest CCSDS point standings. Full results from these events are available at www.CompDirt.com.
