- After Mother Nature axed the first two events of the Labor Day weekend, Kyle Beard followed the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Miss.) on Saturday night for the Labor Day Classic. In a field of 28 cars, Beard failed to finish in his heat race, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Grabbing the second and final transfer spot behind David Breazeale, Kyle earned the 18th-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top-10, Beard passed 10 cars in the 40-lapper to place eighth.

On Sunday afternoon at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.), Kyle followed up the seventh fastest time in his qualifying group with a fourth place finish in his heat. With $3,000 on the line in the feature, Beard jumped up two spots to register an 11th place outing.
