Beard competes in tripleheader weekend with CCSDS

Kyle Beard made the trip to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) on Thursday night to take part in the rescheduled Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned event from July 31st. With the feature grid already set for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Beard held his spot for all 35 laps to register a seventh place finish.

The following night at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Miss.) to kick off the 14th annual Gumbo Nationals, Kyle came in fourth fastest in his time trial group before placing second in his heat behind Josh Putnam. With $4,000 on the line in the feature, Beard faded one spot in the 30-lap affair to finish ninth. (Millie Tanner photo | Turn 3 images)

On Saturday afternoon, Beard fell short of a transfer position in his heat with a sixth place finish, sending him into the B-Main. Coming in second behind Chad Thrash, Kyle locked into the 20th-starting position for the $8,000-to-win finale. Breaking into the Top-10, Kyle Beard passed 10 cars in the 50-lapper to place 10th.
