Kyle Beard registers eighth-place finish at Legit

On Friday afternoon Kyle Beard visited Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) returning with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. In a field of 26 cars, Beard followed up the fourth fastest time in his group with a third place finish in his heat. Slated to start the opening night feature in seventh, Mother Nature made an appearance before the 40-lapper was able to get underway, postponing the finale to September 3rd.

At Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) the following night for the Larry Phillips Memorial, Kyle came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish. Streaking to a 10-lap consolation victory, Beard locked into the 14th-starting position for the main event. With $5,075 on the line, Kyle passed six cars in the 40-lapper to place eighth.
