Beard races to fourth-place finish in Joe Garrison Memorial

On Friday afternoon, Kyle Beard was one of 29 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) entries on hand at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) for the Joe Garrison Memorial. Starting the night off with a heat race victory, Beard locked into the third-starting position for the opening night feature. Losing one spot in the 30-lap affair, Kyle posted a fourth-place finish, trailing Jonathan Davenport, B.J. Robinson, and Billy Moyer Jr. to the checkers with Morgan Bagley coming in fifth. The following night for the Bad Boy 98, Kyle came in fifth in his heat, which positioned him 13th on the starting grid for the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Bringing out the first caution of the race, Beard was an early retiree from the 68-lapper on the seventh lap.

Kyle is currenty fourth in the latest CCSDS point standings..
