Beard notches runner-up finish at Riverside

After the weekend opener at Central Arkansas Speedway (Plumerville, Ark.) was axed by bad weather, Kyle Beard returned with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) on Saturday at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Ark.). Following the second fastest time in his group, Kyle notched a runner-up finish in his heat behind Spencer Hughes. Starting the $3,000-to-win A-Main in seventh, Beard advanced forward four spots to place third, following Neil Baggett and Austin Rettig across the line with Spencer Hughes and Brian Rickman rounding out the Top-5.
