Top-5 finish with CCSDS at Legit Speedway Park

Following the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Kyle Beard invaded Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park (Poplar Bluff, Mo.) on Friday night for the $3,000 prize. In a field of 29 Late Models, Beard edged his way into the opening night feature with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. Rolling off 16th, Kyle suffered engine issues in the opening laps that saw him pull off on the third circuit.

Entering his Crate Late Model into competition on Saturday at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) for the second round of the CCSDS doubleheader, Kyle posted a fifth-place finish in his heat, sending him into the B-Main. Streaking to a 10-lap consolation victory, Beard locked into the 17th-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Wheeling his way into the Top-5, Kyle Beard passed 12 cars in the 40-lapper to place fifth, trailing Brian Rickman, Hunter Rasdon, Billy Moyer Jr., and Billy Moyer across the line. Kyle is currently fifth in the latest CCSDS point standings.
