Wild West Shootout continues on at Vado Speedway Park

On Wednesday, Kyle Beard returned to Vado Speedway Park (Vado, NM) for the third round of the Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly. After getting behind the eight-ball in time trials, Beard jumped up one spot in his heat to finish sixth. Starting the feature in 17th, Kyle clawed forward three spots to place 14th. For another $5,000-to-win A-Main on Friday, Beard gained two spots in his heat race to place second. Fading outside the Top-10 in the feature, Kyle logged a 14th-place outing.

The following night, Kyle posted a fifth-place finish in his heat before picking up a consolation victory. Breaking into the Top-10 in the A-Main, Beard improved seven spots in the 40-lapper to register a 10th-place finish.

To wrap up the 16th annual Wild West Shootout on Sunday, Beard followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a fourth-place finish in his B-Main. Starting the $25,000-to-win Wild West Shootout finale in 20th, Kyle improved 11 spots in the 50-lap affair to cross the line in ninth.
