Kyle Beard opens 2022 season with Wild West Shootout at Vado Speedway Park

Kyle Beard made the 17-hour trek to Vado Speedway Park (Vado, New Mexico) on Saturday afternoon to kick off his 2022 season with the 16th annual Wild West Shootout. Drawing 31 Late Models, Kyle edged his way into the opening night feature with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat race. On Sunday, Beard’s fourth-place finish in his heat race positioned him 15th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish, Kyle passed nine cars to place sixth.
