Fourth-place finish in MSCCS opener at Magnolia

Kyle Beard returned to the driver's seat of the Mann Motorsports No. 86 Late Model on Saturday evening at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) as the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) kicked off the 2022 slate with a $3,000-to-win opener. With his qualifying effort positioning him fifth on the starting gird for the main event, Beard clawed forward one spot in the 40-lapper to register a fourth-place finish.
