Top-5 finish in Spring Nationals visit at Crossville

With the doubleheader weekend with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) derailed by Mother Nature, Kyle Beard visited Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tenn.) on Friday evening for the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals event. With his qualifying effort placing him on the sixth row for the feature, Beard advanced forward six positions to register a fifth-place finish. He trailed Carson Ferguson, Josh Putnam, Payton Freeman, and Garrett Smith to the checkers.

For the $10,053 prize on Saturday at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tenn.), Kyle secured his spot into the finale with a third-place finish in his heat. Fading outside the Top-10 in the 53-lap affair, Beard logged a 14th-place outing.
